Are the job leads qualified?

Yes. We call each property owner who posts a project with us to verbally confirm they are actively seeking bids to perform work. We verify the property owner's contact information and how they wish to be contacted (phone or email.) We also discuss the project with the property owner to make sure they understand possible budgets and to make sure the project is in the correct category.

What is the difference between Registration and Subscription?

Registration is free and allows contractors limited access (excluding Property Owner contact information) to view the project descriptions and location. As a subscriber, you become a member of our network, you will be able to view Project Owner's phone number and email, and will be able to contact them to bid on the job that same moment.

Does ConstructionDeal.com take a portion or percentage of the job payment?

No. We charge to subscribe to our service. You only pay for access to our list of qualified leads.

Can I dispute an invalid lead?

Members of the Pay-Per-Lead plan are qualified to dispute lead fees within 3 days after responding to the lead. If information provided by a contractor proves to be accurate and qualifies as a Bad Lead, then the lead fee charge will be credited back to the account on file within 3 business days.

How do I delete a duplicate profile?

We would be happy to remove your duplicate company profile. Simply e-mail our customer service team to request that this be done, and include your current email address and your duplicate e-mail address that you would like to have deleted. If you do not know the e-mail address associated with the duplicate profile, please e-mail the personal or company name as it is listed. Please be sure to allow 3 business days for your request to be processed.

To find the best area service professional, a Property Owner submits a brief description of the needed service by answering a series of questions in a ConstructionDeal.com e-interview. ConstructionDeal.com then matches customer's specific need with the defined skills of a select group of service professionals. You are notified, via email, that you have a job lead in your area,

How many other contractors receive the same lead?

To prevent too many service professionals from bidding on the same project, we allow our Property Owner to choose the number of bids they wish to receive. They can choose from five or less, seven or less, ten or less, or more than ten. You may see how many other contractors responded to the same project under "Responses" column in your New Leads tab. For example, if you see 3/5 - it means 3 contractors out of a possible 5 responded. If you see a number and "max" - the project owner has chosen not to limit the number of responses received. Since, our system notifies you the minute a project is approved by our Customer Service team, it is up to you to act fast before a project is locked or closed.

Am I obligated to contact project owner?

No. We provide leads matched to your specialty and location, but the final choice is up to you.

What is "My Account" and how do I use it?

"My Account" is your personal space on our Web site where ConstructionDeal.com keeps your profile information secure for you. This is the place for you to:

  • View new, responded, and declined leads
  • Add your business description, address, phone number or e-mail to your business profile.
  • Change your sign in password.
  • Set preferred lead types and the distance within which you would like to work.
